I'm a bit overwhelmed. I have a new HA toy: Blackbean WiFi IR controller.
It pretty much sends out data in a format that it learns. But I need to
figure out what code it's sending so I can use it to run other commands.
So what I'm hoping is to get some decent tutorials on how much of the
IR remote world works. I have a Tivo remote that will be used and I think
it uses the NEC format. So I'll probably start there.

BTW, is the a resource of Russel's resources. It's really hard to search. ;-)

Could be. You've begun the protocol, let's see if the Russell
responds. ;-)

I'm happy with decoding and replicating infrared remote controls for
televisions, radios, and air conditioners. I pulled together lots of
work by others though, so nothing particularly original.
