Indeed, obvious, once you know about it the neural networks hook up
nicely; kinda like using a kitchen breadmaking machine and a paint
stripper for roasting coffee beans.

But consider the size of the leap; car headlights vs soldering.

Is the size of the leap always the same, or are some leaps much larger?

What else is unknown? Is there a quantum of our ignorance, or is it a
continuum?

That is indeed pretty clever. The comments on the video were not very
helpful. Many complained about the accent of the narrator. I liked her
voice!

Hi there everyone, seasons greetings. The idea of using halogen light
source to create local heating is not really a novel idea. Remember the
renovations to HRH's place at Windsor, somebody placed a halogen lamp too
near the drapes and set the place on fire! Also a simple foil shield around
the back of the lamp would be of benefit. But wait.... am I missing
something here, are you all mesmerized by the sexy robovoice urging you to
buy the products?

turns up much.
I used the title of a document I had saved
Technical information for Infrared halogen heater lamps
and it returns many others related.

Note the lifetime-Voltage curve in the 1st ref. Running at 16Vish leads to
a VERY short life.

Many of these are long tubes specifically intended for IR output, but are
variably relevant.

Yes - And photocopiers as well, the higher the speed throughput the
hotter the fuser section, some have 3 or 4, depends on machine. Replaced
many hundreds in my time.
Yes - they do melt solder - I've tried that too, when I was younger.
