Is there a site out there somewhere that can translate the number marked on a part to an actual part number?

Hi David,

A Google Search for "smd markingsā€ will reveal a bunch of places you can check. I have done it before with varying degrees of sucess.

For some parts there are a bunch of references, for others none at all ! And beware of conflicting results :-(
