Just a reminder, you don't want to keep the entire thread in every reply. Please trim what isn't needed. At least to some extent.

This morning, one post was held back because it had gotten too large. I let it through when I saw it, but it had been delayed by 12 hours.

So even if you don't care about conservation of bits, remember that your post might be delayed or not make it through at all if it gets too big.

I know that some mail clients hide the quoted text from you, but surely it is possible to bypass that and do some editing.
